Organic Yield began as Brady Sales in 1972 supplying products to the Health Care Professional market. In 2002 Bob Nemer and Gary Mayer bought the company and continued growing the business to over 3,000 clinics across the country. At that time doctors where becoming more involved in natural products for their patients. Brady Sales introduced GreensFirst, a sweet mint tasting powdered greens product containing fruits and vegetables. This product was labeled safe for diabetic.  Bob, who is a diabetic, started taking this greens product. He began having elevated blood sugar levels and decided to have an independent lab test done. The test showed over 5 grams of added sugar when the label said 1 gram per serving.

Bob knew that 40+ million people suffering from diabetes would face the same risk as he did from products that did not report their actual contents. The company dropped this product and began supplying products that they could independently test for sugars and metals. They also had their product tested for antioxidant levels by Brunswick Laboratories. Brunswick conducts a test called ORAC (Oxygen Radical Absorption Capacity) which shows the amount of free radical absorption in the body. The higher the number the higher the antioxidant levels.

Because of this information the company sought to change the standard by testing every batch and supplying these tests to the doctors so they could be assured that what was on the label was in the container.

Organic Yield was founded with the belief that everyone needs educational information about what types of supplements will benefit their ability to maximize their health. Rather than just supplying vitamins and supplements, Organic Yield covers  9 major maladies,  Heart Disease, Diabetes, Cancer, Weight Loss, Stress, Depression, Anti-Aging, Digestion, and Osteoporosis. Each product is based on the latest scientific research

Organic Yield will continue to research and educate our customers so they can make informed decisions based on science.
